As I moved into Week 6, the volume of gathered texts became a significant management challenge. I realised that simply reading articles one by one would result in a chaotic, unstructured essay. To maintain strict academic rigor, I spent this week designing a structured, tripartite analytical matrix to organise the literature into distinct themes.
Instead of grouping texts by author or date, I categorised them based on the specific variables of my research question:
- Spatial Geometry: Grouping texts that discuss spatial clarity, traditional axis-crossing, and layout orientation rules.
- Camera Dynamics: Grouping scholarship that analyzes virtual camera weight, mechanical simulation, and perceived reality.
- Visual Anchoring: Organizing texts that evaluate how composition grids stabilize the spectator’s eye during erratic visual spectacles.

This thematic matrix has completely changed my reading workflow. It allows me to see exactly how different scholars approach the same problem from different formal angles.
